Justice Deepak Gupta was born in a family of lawyers at Nurpur, District Kangra. His father Shri M.R. Gupta was a leading lawyer at Simla. Justice Gupta did his schooling from St. Edward’s School, Shimla and law from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University. He practiced in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh and handled Constitutional, Commercial and Environmental matters. He has also served as the President of the Himachal Pradesh High Court Bar Association. He has been an active environmentalist and filed a number of public interest litigations to preserve the ecology and environment of Himachal Pradesh. Justice Gupta was appointed Permanent Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh in October 2004. He headed the Green Bench of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh dealing with environmental matters for more than three years.Justice Gupta was elevated as the First Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura on 23rd March, 2013. He was then transferred as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh on 16.05.2016. Justice Gupta was elevated as Judge of the Supreme Court of India on 17.02.2017. He was a member of the Bench dealing with environmental and social justice matters. During his tenure he has dealt with various important environmental matters including those involving issues of pollution, protection of forests, and mining, as well as matters related to rights of women and children. He also headed the Committee to Oversee the Proper and Effective Implementation of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. Justice Gupta retired from the Supreme Court of India on 06.05.2020 and became the first judge to get a virtual farewell on his retirement. In addition to law, Justice Gupta has a lot of other interests. He is fond of reading, walking, and is an avid photographer with keen interest in landscape and wildlife photography.

As you know, this Hotel is located in a most prestigious area décor and Luxury. She herself had devoted full time to manage the affairs of the Hotel project, particularly the Beauty Parlor, one of the most prestigious commercial area at the Hotel. Ever since 1991, she has been the Chairperson and Managing Director of Le Meridien Hotel, which has won several laurels.
He is the Executive Director of CII and has more than 28 years of experience in manufacturing, media, and business consulting. He has led CII's skill policy recommendations on the Apprenticeship Act, National Skill Policy, Make in India, Ease of Doing Business to name a few. He has immense contribution to the establishment of the sector skill council and has conceptualized and established CII's Model Career Center Initiative.
